You should get some good booze to make that egg nog worth it.

Throw egg nog away. Eggs belong in a pan, not a glass.

Meh. I prefer to drink my good booze straight. Crap like SoCo is pretty much made to be mixed.

Egg belong in all sorts of things. I’m fixing to make some cookies right now. They have eggs in them. Also M&M’s The festive ones.

That’s where something like old crow comes in. Cheap and good for mixing, enough alcohol to get a buzz before the diabetes/coronary event sets in.

Fair enough. SoCo is the same price as old crow right now. Figured it might go well enough with the SoCo brand egg nog. My mother in law likes it. If can get her to chug a few and pass out by 8 that’s a win. Then I’ll uncork some decent wine in the peace and quiet.

Nice! Last time I made some I had makers 46. It was pretty much the only non clear liquor I had since someone drank a little too much jack Daniels in college a couple times and the smell of whiskey and burbon induced gag reflexes.

My room mate freshman year of college used to constantly have a fifth of SoCo that he was drinking right out of the bottle. There was one bad night when he had he 100 proof stuff instead of the 70 by mistake and I’ve only just recently been able to touch it again.

I’ve only been able to drink colored alcohols again. I remember I had an orgo II test and a test in the into ChemE class the same day and I told the girl I studied with that I was going to blackout that night before the sun did. I had like a shot short of a fifth in about 2 hours, I did in fact blackout before the sun did.

if you’re not all cookied out, make some cookie dough, wrap it around a snickers mini, and bake that. It’s THE BESTEST.

I’ve never heard of this. Might have to try it. I am temporarily cookied out for now. Do you freeze the minis or just room temp?

room temp is good. you actually want them to melt a little during baking.
